Job Purpose:

The Regional Office Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods, documents, and equipment between the Regional Office and retail stores. The role supports smooth regional operations while ensuring company vehicles, goods, and brand standards are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and collect stock, stationery, equipment, and promotional materials to and from stores within Johannesburg, Pretoria, Mpumalanga, Free State, Limpopo and North West regions.
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and on schedule
• Obtain and submit signed delivery notes and related documentation
• Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tyres, lights, cleanliness)
• Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, and delivery documentation
• Comply with all road traffic laws and company policies
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
• Assist stores with urgent operational requirements when requested
• Support regional projects, store openings, relocations as required

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications & Licensing:

• Valid South African driver’s licence (Code 8 / Code B or higher)
• Professional Driving Permit (PDP) – advantageous / required if transporting passengers

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a driver, preferably in retail or logistics
• Proven experience driving light delivery vehicles or company cars

• Excellent knowledge of regional road networks
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure

Working Conditions:

• Extensive driving within the region
• May require early starts, late finishes, weekends, or public holidays
• Exposure to varying weather and traffic conditions
