We need an ambitious, responsible and self-motivated individual to fill the following vacancy that exists as a Retail Promotions and Product Analyst at our Epping head office.


Minimum Requirements

Proven expert MS Excel skills

Strong and proven data analytical skills, critical thinking and a passion for big data

Logical and mathematical inclined way of thinking.

Efficient time management and communication skills. It is important to keep stakeholders informed of progress (verbal and written).

Retail experience beneficial.

University or tertiary degree in commerce or analytics an advantage



Job Description

Extracting and analysing data from large datasets that inform and guide business decisions.

The candidate needs to be able to understand how and where the data is available, perform calculations and then be able to make sense of the findings.

Creating versatile spreadsheets for tracking various metrics such as sales, stock utilisation, store performance and many others.

Performing promotion evaluations from various data points.

Assisting with promotional product quantifications (forecasts).

Weekly selected sales reports that gets distributed to all senior operations staff.

Monthly bespoke reporting as required by the business unit.

Locate, review and validate data and reports against quality standards before being distributed

Efficiently handle large sets of data and be able to process them into required operational dashboards and reports

A business savvy approach to data and its uses in the company.
